Just when did working ON your own business get so bloody complicated?

It’s not working IN your business that's the problem. I mean, you've got some great clients or customers, you're passionate about what you do and you're just about fitting it all in with you life and/or family.

Working with me means delving deep to uncover your true brand story and find the right words that will help you stand out, connect to your dream clients or customers and F L O U R I S H.

But it's so hard to find the extra time and energy to sit down and work out how to attract those A-list clients or build in more flexibility or charge more or whatever is it that you need to do to up level your business.

It means going back to basics to uncover what you really want to say, why you want to say it and to whom.

I totally get it! In fact, I am there right now: juggling client work, family commitments and STILL sorting out my new website and planning my blog and newsletter.

And the biggest lesson I've learned? That a brand starts with copy. A story that your people will resonate with. A yarn to inspire. A tale that will enable them to make sense of how you can help them.

But another lockdown in addition to huge personal and business growth has made me realise I needed to strip everything back and redefine so much about Haythorn Copy: from bedrock values, to who I want to help and how best to serve them.

And this takes time. I want to do the work that will build my brand from the inside out and truly reflect my passion for helping women move forward in their businesses through words.

And the biggest lesson I've learned?

You can have the sparkliest website, blog, newsletter, online course or podcast in the world but if the words aren't truly speaking to your audience, they'll – quite literally – mean nothing.
