When I talk about storytelling, I don’t mean something you do around a campfire. I’m talking about weaving your message into a tale that transports people, simplifies information and evokes an emotional response. After all, we humans have used storytelling over thousands of years to share vital information that’s helped us evolve.

We forget facts, but we’re hardwired to remember and repeat stories. Story is the secret sauce that makes a startup inspirational and a century-old company relevant. And your story is your best biz friend. It is the most effective, immediate and compelling resource available to differentiate yourself in your field.

I’ll create the story you want people to remember and repeat. The story that makes sense of who you are, what you’re doing, where you’re going and why. What’s the process?

 
  1. We’ll have a free 30-minute call so you can tell me all about what you need and to check I’m the right writer for your brand. If not, I have a pool of talented colleagues I can recommend who may have more experience in your niche.

  2. I’ll send you a proposal of our project and a quote. Once that’s been agreed, I’ll send you an invoice for 25% of my fee and a tailored brand messaging questionnaire for you to fill in. This is where it gets exciting! The questions are designed to tease as much juicy info out of you and your brand as possible for me to translate into sparkling copy that will turn heads.

  3. We can have another quick discussion to check we’re on the same page or I can get straight on with the first draft.

  4. I’ll send you the first draft in Google Docs or a Word doc. You make any edits, amends and suggestions to clarify tone and messaging and we can work together to create a second draft that shines.

  5. I’ll return the second draft for a second and final round of amends.

  6. I’ll take in those amends, let the copy ‘breathe’ and then give it a final proofread.

  7. I’ll send over your shiny new copy, ready for you to upload! Time to celebrate with a strong G’n’T.
